FetchlyHub ("we", "us", "our", or "Company") operates the FetchlyHub website and mobile experience. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

2.1 Auth0 Authentication

We use Auth0 for user authentication. When you sign up or log in, Auth0 collects your email address, name, and other profile information you provide. We receive your user ID, email, and profile claims from Auth0's ID token. Auth0 processes this data under their Privacy Policy.

2.2 Stripe Payment Data

Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card information; Stripe retains all payment data under their Privacy Policy. We receive only your subscription status and customer ID from Stripe.

2.3 Search Data

When you search, we log:

• Your search query (the product you searched for)
• Your IP address (to track tier limits and geolocation)
• Your user ID (if authenticated)
• Timestamp and results summary

This data helps us track usage, enforce tier limits, improve search quality, and understand popular products. Trial users (unregistered) are tracked by IP address alone.

2.4 Geolocation

We use your IP address to determine your country and set currency defaults. We do not store precise GPS location.

2.5 Cookies and Session Tokens

Auth0 may set session cookies. These are standard authentication cookies. Your browser must accept cookies to use authenticated features.

FetchlyHub uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To track and enforce access tier limits (3 free searches per IP, 3 per week for free users, unlimited for paid)
• To notify you about changes to our Service
• To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service, when you choose to do so
• To provide customer care and support
• To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
• To monitor the usage of the Service
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues and security threats

4. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do not store passwords; Auth0 handles authentication securely. We do not store payment card data; Stripe handles that securely.

5. Disclosure of Data

5.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"). These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to the extent necessary to perform these tasks and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. These include:

• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription billing
• E-commerce platform APIs: Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Shopee, Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, Rakuten, Carousell

You have the right to access and correct your personal data. Authenticated users can view their profile via GET /api/auth/me. Contact us for corrections.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Note: we may retain anonymized or aggregated data for analytics.

6.3 Cookie Control

You can control cookie preferences in your browser. Disabling cookies may prevent you from using authenticated features.

6.4 Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us by following the unsubscribe link in any email.

7. Retention of Data

FetchlyHub will retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. In general:

• Search logs are retained for up to 12 months for analytics and troubleshooting
• Auth0 and Stripe retain user data according to their retention policies
• Account data is retained for the life of your account plus 90 days after deletion

8. Affiliate Disclosures

FetchlyHub is a participant in affiliate programs for Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, and Shopee. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, FetchlyHub may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
